The bedroom was so small I thought I would have to leave my small case outside the door! The TV - 14" only had 3 terrestrial channels on it. One had to sither sideways into the shower so tight was the space. Breakfast was a self-service that rerquired one to be creative in acquiring crockery. There were no sideplates provided so one had to have recourse to a saucer for one's bread. I could not have breakfasat on teh day of departure as they didn't begin serving until 8.00 and I had to leave at 7.30 to catch my plane.

Good reception/attention at check in. Freezing room with dingy furniture and faulty lights. Newly fitted bathroom nice but without a heater. At least it's cheap and quiet.

Very conveinient location, some great resturants nearby. It was useful to be so close to paddington to catch the Heathrow express early the next day.

One great thing at the Gresham is the complimentary breakfast. Have continental or a real English breakfast and save your money. Saved us another 20 pound ($40CDN) trip to Rotten Ronnies. I'd stay here again if only for the breakfast. Perhaps next time I'd also get a renovated room?
