The Perfect london Retreat

What can I say .... quite a lot actually !! This hotel met and surpassed our expectations. The location is so convenient. South kensington tube station is 5 minutes away and from there you have a choice of underground lines that will bring you wherever you want to go . Just 7 or 8 minutes the opposite direction is Harrods and Hyde Park. The Victoria & Albert museum is across the road and the Royal Albert hall is 10 minutes walk. The rooms were very comfortable & user friendly, because all facilities were easy to operate(unlike most other hotels I have stayed in). The air-conditioning was a dream to use and so was the shower(no twiddling or fussing with controls here). The breakfast was very good also. Overall the four people in our party were very pleased with the hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for good value & service in a great London location

Great Location but the hotel is jaded

We stayed in the Rembrandt Hotel just two days ago and whilst I accept that the location is spot on, the hotel itself is grimy and jaded and I felt it was not up to scratch. My room was only ok and the bed was tiny. The corridors are like being in a ship , very narrow and not that clean. I would not stay there again but I am a fussy person, so if you are not fussy, the value and location is terrific.

nice hotel but not up to four star rating

It was a pleasant enough hotel but not quite what we expected for 4*. The bedroom was pretty small although we had been "upgraded" to executive room and the decor and furnishing a little tired as been said by other reviews. The breakfast was very good and plenty of choice.

A pleasant surprise

I've stayed in many London hotels, it's a very expensive city, so to find a quality hotel at a reasonable price in a good area was a pleasant surprise. I must have passed it by many times without seeing it, but I'll be back.

Good location

when we checked in we were given the worst hotel room I have every seen. It was on the top floor and was absolutely tiny. It resembled a prison cell! We asked to be moved and we were then given a lovely room. Why were we not gven this room the first time? We thought that they must fill the poor rooms first and then the better rooms as we checked in at 3pm.

Very good choice

The check-in lady was very friendly and we were given an upgrade without request. We were only there for 3 days but the entire staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent and the room was very comfortable and clean. No complaints at all. Just good value right in the heart of london.

Ideal location

This was our second visit to the Rembrandt hotel with two other couples. We were staying in London to attend the Classical Spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall. The location is ideal. We were happy with every aspect of the hotel and would happily return if the price is right.

Great Breakfast !

Museums just across the road, Harrods 5 mins walk, Covent Garden, Soho and leicester Square were all £10 in a taxi. Did not use spa but it would have been £7.50 extra. Room was small so upgraded for an extra £20. Would stay again :-) Close to parks too!

Great position

Slightly tired but clean room. Next time I would ask for a room away from Brompton Road as it was quite noisy
