Cheap and cheerful

The hotel is in a bust suburb, and it is what it says on the tin, it is handy for local amenities or to travel into the city, parking is a bit of a nightmare, i had to pay £24 for an overnight stay in the NCP nearby.

Was ok but could be much better!

this hotel looked nice from the outside and reception area too. but wen we got into the tiny lift we started to worry! we got to our room to find the following: ~paint peeling on the walls ~loose plaster on the walls ~lock and handle on bathroom broken ~broken light shades ~bad paint cracks/peeling in shower apart from this we had a good stay and beds were comfy. if u dont mind about the state of decor then this place is ok!

Cheap Hotel

When we first arrived they gave us a room in the basement!! With a window you cant open, damp and hardly any lighting. The place looked like a hostel, even though Ive heard they were better hostels than that room. The room was next to the breakfast room, not just that. In the booking you are entitled to have a continental breakfast, sadly there were just flakes, a vendor that says White Stuff and toast. You have to queue for your toast and serve yourself too!! The towels had spots on them, dirty and unclean. We had to complain several times about the room until they changed us to a room in the first floor which was a little better than the basement. The hotel is really noisy as the walls and ceiling are very thin. There were mature couples that were on the 4th floor, they had to carry huge luggage because the lift wasnt working. Yes, its two stars but I dont think it deserves a one star at all. I dont recommend this hotel even that its a cheap value.

A hotel with no return

Broken furnitures, dirty and dark underground room, I cannot believe this is a three-star-hotel.

OK in good location

Very good location close to Hyde Park, Portobello and the tube. Rooms could be bigger but OK. Do not count on the breakfest - it is much better to go to one of many places around to have beakfest or lunch.

Good value for money

I booked this room at a last minute rate and it was well worth the money I paid. It was a twin room with a window over a private garden. The hotel was a bit run down, but much nicer than others in the vicinity. Service was very friendly.

Cheap but a travelodge would be better

try booking a travelodge if you are looking for cheap family accomodation - for backpackers and students only
