For a one night stay, the hotel was cool. I sourced this and on the whole, my friends were happy with the choice. It was clean and fab for a one night/weekend stay. We had an issue with the air conditioning and the rooms were relatively small, but I have stayed in places for the same price with no amenities. The room had a great telly, ironing board & iron, hairdryer etc, etc - the base creature comforts that in some places you have to ask for but don't get. We did get ripped off on the cab ride into town so beware!

After reading some of the reviews on here I was having second thoughts about this hotel but I was worrying over nothing. The hotel was very easy to find, had ample, secure parking and the rooms were of a high quality. The bathrooms in particular were gorgeous with a huge modern shower cubicle and attractive features. The rooms were clean and well furnished and the staff were very polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Staff are not friendly, and they refused to issue me a bill of my stay, saying it is nothing to do with us! Go to who ever you paid to (i.e Hotels.com) and ask them for your bill!!!

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was excellent value for money and I would recommend it to anybody who wants a short break in Nottingham. The only drawback is that it's a 30 minute walk into the town centre but taxis to the city are easy to book and not expensive.

Initial room provided was on the main road. Since I prefer to sleep with my window open, the traffic noise was quite imposing. I rang reception to change my room and within 10 minutes someone was at my door to help me move to a quieter room at the back of the hotel. The rooms are not extremely large (though not tiny either) but the comfortable bed, nice duvet, Freeview flat screen tv, hairdryer and well presented bathroom made up for the smallish room.
