Get to the coast, only 30 minutes from the hotel - the beach at South Shields was unspoilt and great to unwind. There were even guys surfing.

Hotel was alright but was advertised as being walking distance to downtown Newcastle when it was actually a 20 pound cab ride. Hotel staff was friendly and as helpful. Wouldn't recommend to anybody looking for more than a night's sleep.

Nice Hotel but walls between rooms too thin. Hardly slept a wink due to next rooms snoring guest.

the wifi i think it was o2 was only available by credit card which is such a shame.

Right from the conformational polite phone call, 24 hours prior to arrival to check-out, the service was nothing short of pleasant. The rooms are decent sized and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Ample free parking available and hotel is set in a quiet suburb not too far from the hustle and bustle of Newcastle town centre. Would definitely go back there and very much recommended. Thanks.
