Location. The Hyatt Regency Birmingham is located in the centre of Birmingham, England, 100 metres from the Symphony Hall, 500 metres from the National Sealife Centre, and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, and one mile from the Hippodrome. New Street train station is a mile away.
Hotel Features. This modern high-rise hotel features a full-service health spa with a gym, an indoor heated pool, a spa area with a sauna and Turkish bath, and a range of beauty treatments. Other amenities include 24-hour room service, and wireless Internet access.

The Hyatt Regency Birmingham's contemporary Aria restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving a varied menu of modern European dishes. Drinks and tapas are served in the sleek Bar Pravda.

Business facilities include eight meeting rooms and a conference suite holding up to 100 persons.

Guestrooms. There are 319 air- conditioned rooms on 24 floors, all featuring picture windows offering city views. Decor is contemporary and features contrasting light and dark tones. Amenities include satellite television, direct-dial phones, high-speed Internet access (surcharge), minibars, coffee and tea facilities, and safes. Bathrooms include bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. The Symphony Hall opened in 1991, and its world-class acoustics attract prestigious international orchestras; it is also home to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Driving directions from Birmingham International Airport: At the airport roundabout, take the second exit (B4438; toward Birmingham A45, Solihull). At the junction for station, take the third exit at the roundabout. At the junction with A45, take the first exit to join A45. At the junction with M42, veer left (sign-posted M6, M1), and at the roundabout, take the second exit (M42). At Junction 7 on M42, veer left (M6 The North West and B'ham) to join junction 6 (A38/A38 ¬M| A5127). Keep on A38. Follow the signs to the International Convention Center (ICC) and National Indoor Arena (NIA).

Directions

From Birmingham International Airport (BHX):
Distance to Hyatt Regency Birmingham is 18 miles, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A free Skyrail monorail runs every couple of minutes from Terminal 1 to Birmingham's New Street Station, which is one mile from the hotel. Black cabs are available 24 hours a day from an official rank in front of the airport passenger terminals. The fare to the hotel is 25 GBP. Price is subject to change.

Getting around. There is an extensive bus and train network in Birmingham city centre, and a tram runs between Birmingham and Wolverhampton. The centre can easily be explored on foot.

high end prices but worth it

superb hotel,great location,quality superb and not daft london prices per night. gym and swimming pool included,no gripes at all,other than purchase breakfast elsewhere. £17 for a fry up is a tad steep

Will definitely use this hotel again

Don't have the breakfast - costs too much!! Find one of the nearby cafe's and watch Birmingham wake up!

not exactly what i expected

The check in was nice and easy, the service was ok, very slow room service, room was in good condition, very bad city view all i can see is building work and old building waiting to be demolished!! The bed in the other hand ill have memories of that.lol

Plenty to do and see in the city centre, have done a great job regenerating Birmingham.
